IC Information:The Unsung Tide, a Private Mercenary Corporation has been founded by one of the Clans of the Hingashi region: The Tosaka, namely their leader and head, Shinji Tosaka. The main purpose of the Mercenary Company is to expand the influence of Clan Tosaka, but also to establish itself as an individual organisation and entity. As such, the decisions made by the Tide are guided, but not dictated by the Clan, instead a Liaison is present to act as an intermediary between the Clan, and the Tide. The current acting Liaison being: Kasumi Natsuyo.The Unsung Tide's duties can vary depending on what they themselves choose to undertake as potential missions from Clan Tosaka, these can range from, Monster Hunting, Artifact Acquisition, Diplomatic Endeavours, or Freelance Investigative work, to name but a few examples, with the promises of fortune, honour, glory, and a legacy worth leaving to any of its members.The Organisation is split in to Four distinct Spheres of influence to better engage with these different endeavours, and offer on to its members a clear path of direction to follow. OOC InformationWhat we are:The Unsung Tide is a RP focused Free Company operating on the OMEGA server, on the CHAOS datacentre EU on FFXIV.What we do:The Unsung Tide operates as a narrative/story character focused F.C. We have a "Main Story" event series that occurs Bi-Weekly, in which a DMed event will take place to push forward the story, whilst character interactions and immersion help to shape it. In between those bi-weekly events, other events are posted each week, to help shape, and grow your personal character arcs. The main objective of the F.C is to create an "RPG" like feel, where the cast of characters involved, are shaping the centralised story that they themselves are part of. To that end, nothing in the story is overly scripted, to allow those interactions to have weight, and impact, and have you feel your choices matter.To help facilitate this, the hierarchy of the F.C is split in to four separate structures to aid with the immersive context and position of your characters, for more information on this, feel free to contact us.We have an F.C house in Shirogane that is designed with the explicit intent of maintaining this immersion, and to act as a community hub for RP interactions that your character might want to have with members during times that events are not ongoing.
